Gathering for Women Campus Painting

Gathering for Women serves those either on the verge of or actually experiencing homelessness by providing a warm, welcoming environment to receive food, clothing, case management services, connection to housing and love for those suffering in our community.  The Rotary project provided entire painting of the exterior of the two buildings serving ladies locally with 15+ volunteers over about four hours of painting.

Seaside Children's Center

Over a period of two days, over 20 Rotarians and Stevenson School Rotaract members joined efforts to completely paint and renovate a community room at this special children's center pre-school.  In memory of a young teacher who passed away at an early age at the school, this project commemorated her amazing contribution to the school and students.  Great painting and prep project right at the entrance into the campus.

Seaside High School Campus Cleanup

Seaside High School is a beautiful campus deserving of ongoing love and care. The campus cleanup project on MLK day was a great gift to the school with over 20 large trash bags of trash, weeds, branches, and other items collected during the four hour project . In addition to a mix of Rotary and community volunteers, we were joined by a group of 10 AmeriCorps members working in UWMCs Monterey County Preschool Service Corps program who gave their time, some coming from as far away as King City, Greenfield, Soledad and Salinas.
